ISLAMABAD — Pakistan is mobilizing a significant relief effort for Palestinians stranded amid ongoing crises, with the first shipment of 100 metric tons of vital supplies scheduled to leave Islamabad International Airport this Sunday evening. The shipment includes essential food and medical items aimed at alleviating urgent needs on the ground.
This humanitarian consignment will first be flown to Amman, Jordan, from where it will be forwarded to Palestine to reach those affected by the dire situation. The logistics and operational details have been meticulously arranged to ensure the aid reaches its destination without delay.
The dispatch ceremony will be attended by key officials including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik, Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to providing timely support to Palestinians in distress.
This initiative reflects Pakistan’s longstanding solidarity with the Palestinian people and its proactive role in regional humanitarian assistance.
